One of my key areas of interest is Parks on the Air where licenced amateurs venture into parks, beaches, rivers and historic sites around the world and engage with other operators, some of whom are in parks as well.
I love POTA as it combines my love of nature, science, radio and computers into one activity.
I try and get out at least once a week and my POTA posts are all online. In May 2026 I published a post on the equipment I use for POTA. Suggestions on equipment to consider are welcome!
More information on Parks on the Air in Australia is at this site and here’s a good article on the pursuit.
