That was a fun weekend of POTA. Two activations, lots of QSO, sunshine, nice food, happy dog and wonderful nature.
Pine Creek State Forest AU-7709
On Saturday, 29 August 2026, I was at Pine Creek State Forest AU-7709. I’m up on Tower Road looking west up the Bellinger River Valley and east over the Pacific Ocean. I was using the IC-7300 OG and inverted V I was on 40 and 15 metres.
Gladstone State Forest AU-7733
On Sunday 30 August, I was at Gladstone State Forest AU-7733 on the Coffs Coast. This was the inaugural activation of this park. I was at 400 metres with the IC-7300 and the inverted V on 15 and 40 metres.
