Today I am at the Never Never State Forest (AU-7739), bordering the World Heritage Listed Dorrigo National Park on the north coast of the state of the New South Wales.

The Never Never State Forest is inland from Coffs Harbour and at the foothills of the Dorrigo Plateau and in what’s known as The Promised Land at Glennifer.

I am on the perimeter of the forest using an Icom IC-7300 and JPC-12 at 10 watts.

Between 0445 and 0645 UTZ today, Saturday 30 May 2026, I will be on 15 and 40 metres, trying FT8 FreeDV and D-Star REF030C.
