BACKGROUND

Are you ready to do business from a different place of business? Join us to hear Andrew Woodward explain how to prepare for a crisis.

Last year, the people of Bellingen were put on notice several times to be prepared to evacuate because of bushfires in the area.

Thankfully, we didn’t have to go, this time. But one day we will. More frequent and ferocious fires are now the norm and they will come closer to Bellingen in the years ahead, impacting our lives and businesses.

Andrew Woodward has been a business management consultant and worked in crisis management for much of his career in financial services, tourism, sport and major events. Among other things, Andrew worked for the Government of Indonesia after the 2002 terrorist bombing in Bali and for medical organisations in Australia on crisis communications.

Andrew has prepared a presentation to help Bellingen CoWorking Network members prepare their business for short term relocation in the event of evacuation and to ensure that all of their electronic data is backed up. The aim is to show you have to be business as usual, no matter where that business occurs.

This seminar is essential for one-person-show sole-traders and multi-person small businesses.
