For years, Apple sold thin and light HDMI video cables. They were great quality and reasonable value for money. But they were only up to 2k resolution and didn’t do Dolby Atmos.
I also remember paying well over usd100 (aud150) for a “Monster” HDMI cable for my Apple TV Gen 1 in the naughties. And that was 20 years ago!
I recently become sick of HDMI cables that had all of the flexibility of a garden hose. Few fit nicely into my accessories travel case while others cause havoc back of house (behind the desk and home theatre centre).
I found these on Amazon from Thsucords and l got a one metre version to test. It’s great. I’ve now received some three metre ones. They come in a variety of sizes up to ten metres. The three metre ones are usd5 (aud8) each.
They’re worth a try.
