Feedback to MacGeekGab
In the show that landed on Monday, 26 May 2025 (AUS time), there was a discussion about a listener who was concerned about personal iCloud info being on their work iPhone, iPad or Mac.
The issue was that they didn’t want their personal data to be subject to monitoring, subpoena or other access-related matters.
If I were this person with a work-supplied device, I would NOT put my personal iCloud account on this machine.
However, to access my personal iCloud account, I would simply open iCloud.com and use Safari in private mode.
iCloud.com is now excellent. It’s come a long way. You can do just about everything on it. Apple also has a good article on it.
This way, your reader definitely won’t get caught! Andrew
