Whether it’s Gallipoli, a Commonwealth War Grave, Martin Place in Sydney, or as it was for me today, the main street of your local town (Bellingen NSW 2454), Dawn Service is always a sombre, humbling and reflective experience.
It was said this morning that 102k Australians had died serving their country. That’s worth pausing for and thinking about.
Thankfully, it’s a different time from which I hope we all continue to remember and learn.
Lest we forget.
