In this week’s show, there was a discussion about calendars and giving someone a link so they could make a booking in your calendar based on your free time.
Over the years, I have used Microsoft Exchange, Flexibits Fantastical and Calendy. They all worked to a certain extent but at a cost.
I then discovered TidyCal and it is a lifetime service for USD27 and it is awesome.
Key features
- I get a link I can give to anyone to book appointments of varying lengths
- I have my own online page with booking options
- It can see the appointments in the calendars I give it visibility to in my Apple/iCloud account (and if I had them MS Exchange and GMail).
- It drops appointments into whatever calendar I want. In my case, I have set up a specific calendar in Apple/iCloud for TidyCal appointments
- I can block times out that it can’t make appointments even if I am “free” (so I have some focus time)
- I can run polls of people to find the best time.
What else do you need? It is USD27 lifetime. It is fully featured. It is a no brainer.
