I learned a few things about networking at the weekend after trying to fix an issue where Airplay2 from my Mac Mini, iPhone and iPad to various HomePods gen 2 and Minis and Sonos devices would drop out on my Orbi network from time to time (RBK-753)
Some Google-FU and Reddit-Fu recommend reserving the IP address for audio and video devices which can be done through the Orbi web interface. I did that. So far so good.
Now, I have a Sonos system with a Beam 2, sub mini and two Ikea Symphonisk speakers (rear). But only one IP address for Sonos was showing on my router. Further Fu revealed Sonos only shows one IP address when devices are grouped. If you want to reserve a port for all four items, you have to ungroup them first., add them one by one and regroup!
