- The coast is generally two to five degrees cooler than Bellingen in summer and the other way around in winter.
- Dorrigo is generally five to ten degrees cooler than Bellingen, all year around, due to elevation. Roads can be icy on the mountain.
- Humidity is always high in Bellingen.
- Heavy fog can be an issue on Waterfall Way all year around.
