I am at a conference in Sydney today. One of the presenters is Nas Campanella- a newsreader and journalist at ABC Radio Triple J. So what? Well, she’s 100 percent blind and can’t read Braille. Yes, really.
I was once a radio journalist and newsreader and couldn’t get through a bulletin without a stumble or two. This woman is pitch perfect. She has a beautiful voice and pace.
After you read the story, have a listen to what she hears through her headphones to enable her to repeat and read aloud. Incredible. What an amazing story. What an amazing woman. And good on the ABC for giving her a go.
